Elite Fantasy subscribers can compete in this contest – predicting some of the outcomes of my officially unofficial simulation of the remainder of the 2019-20 NHL season.
Round Four Results
If you weren’t following along over at FanLink, here were the final results of our Stanley Cup Playoff sim:
St. Louis hoists the cup for the second straight season, while the Boston Bruins are halfway to becoming the NHL’s Buffalo Bills!
Congrats to our weekly winners: @Bure10DFS, @jasonbourdow, @Wonka1976, and @HimesMedia
Overall Grand Prize Winner
We had a total of 81 entries into our subscriber-only contest. We awarded some cool NHL apparel and collectibles to the weekly winners, as well as a 30-minute DFS coaching session to each of the four winners.
Surprisingly, a fifth subscriber was able to consistently rack up enough points to win the overall grand prize of an EliteFantasy.com 2020-21 NHL DFS Package Subscription and a private one-hour DFS coaching session.
Congratulations to @icehawk55, who registered 140 total points over the four rounds, enough to hold off @Wonka1976 who finished in second with 137!
This was a lot of fun for me guys. At the very least, it was entertaining to follow along during this time when we have very limited live sports taking place – and *no* hockey. But it was also fun to continue interacting with you all, as well.
Hopefully we’ll get some kind of hockey back soon, although I’m not sure what that will look like. Until then, I’ll still be hanging around. I’m open to doing some more strategy articles or live strategy/lineup review sessions if anyone wants them. Just let me know!
If you’re a fan of simulated sports, I’ll be doing a sim French Open over on Twitter. I will be using my tennis model to fully simulate the entire qualifying round as well as the main draw. Qualies start on 5/18, main draw on 5/24.
I’m a bit of a tennis addict too, so this will be another way for me to keep busy and interact with the tennis crowd.
You can follow all the action on the “Fauxland Garros” Twitter page.
