Check out the Cash Breakdown for tonight’s four-game NBA DFS slate!!
We’ve got a small four gamer tonight. Be sure to follow the news out of Miami where several players are Q.
Anthony Davis and Devin Booker have already been ruled out.
PG
Damian Lillard ($10600 DK, $9700 FD) – Dame has seen a big spike in usage since McCollum went down. Beast mode activated. Good matchup tonight against the Rockets in the highest projected scoring game of the night.
Chris Paul ($8000 DK, $7400 FD) – Devin Booker is out. Over the past two games w/Booker out, he’s been very aggressive offensively, getting up 20 and 21 shot attempts while dishing out 18 assists.
Reggie Jackson ($7000 DK, $5000 FD) – 39 minutes and 47 fantasy points last game with Kawhi, George and P-Bev out. Same situation tonight. Jackson is never a guy we feel totally comfortable trusting but the price is just too low on FD.
Dennis Schroder ($5700 DK, $5700 FD) – No AD elevates Schroder to the second option in the Lakers offense. Look to use the positional flexibility on DK to get Schroder in at SG.
SG
Terance Mann ($5400 DK, $4500 FD) – Strong value at a difficult position to fill on FD. Started last game and saw 33 minutes of action, scoring 34 fantasy points. Should start again tonight.
Andrew Wiggins ($6900 DK, $7400 FD) – Again, a tough position to fill on FD. Wiggins is an unexciting option but he’s had a consistent floor all year long.
Gary Trent ($5000 DK, $4800 FD) – Very unlikely he sees 41 minutes again like last game with Hood probable tonight. However, Blazers are still undermanned on the wing w/RoCo and McCollum out. Good shot of seeing 30+ mins here.
Miami Heat: With so many perimeter guys Q including Butler, Herro, Dragic, Robinson and Strus, it’s a situation to monitor. Knowing who is available and starting should direct you towards who to roster, if anyone. The more guys that are out, the better it is for Kendrick Nunn and Gabe Vincent.
SF
Carmelo Anthony ($5200 FD Only) – The man can still get buckets and the Blazers need them with McCollum on the shelf. 21 FGAs last game and expect him to continue to be a big part of the offense moving forward.
LeBron James ($10400 DK, $10700 FD) – We’re still looking at a possible blowout, even with AD ruled out, because Detroit is just really bad. No matter what though, the AD news gives LBJ a nice little bump.
Cam Johnson (5300 DK, $4600 FD) – Better now that Booker has been ruled out. Is regularly seeing 30+ minutes and is a nice little value on FD.
PF
Kyle Kuzma ($4300 DK, $3900 FD) – AD being out helps unlock the slate. Go ahead and fire up Kuzma as a core cash play on both sites.
Carmelo Anthony ($5600 DK Only) – See above.
Serge Ibaka ($6200 FD Only) – I wouldn’t play Ibaka as a C on DK, but he’s a good option on FD at PF. Kawhi and George are out again, and in this scenario last game, Ibaka played 29 minutes and got up 15 shot attempts. His usage spiked significantly relative to recent games with the two studs in there.
Jae Crowder ($5500 FD, $5200 DK) – Booker is out so he should draw the start again. Has seen a nice uptick in minutes and production in this short-lived role. Positional flexibility on DK.
C
Deandre Ayton ($7800 DK, $8300 FD) – Put up a turd last game but should be much better here in this matchup against the Warriors. Ayton should theoretically benefit from the absence of Booker, but this is a good spot to get back on the horse with him no matter what.
Mason Plumless ($4800 DK, $5200 FD) – More of a DK play where value is more scarce than on FD. The matchup is now better with AD out of the picture.
James Wiseman ($4900 DK, $4800 FD) – The move to the bench might actually help his production. Looney will never play big minutes no matter how well he’s doing and Wiseman should be less of an afterthought on the offensive end playing with the second unit.
FD Core: Dame, LeBron, Jackson, Kuzma
DK Core: Kuzma, Carmelo, Lillard, Schroder
