What’s up, Elite Mafia! We have a massive 11-game slate tonight, starting at 7pm EST on FanDuel and DraftKings. Yes, MASSIVE. There is a ton of options, and I will try to narrow this down to CASH players in each position. I will be focusing on building blocks. I do have Paul George listed below because of the matchup and a core play for me tonight. After that, it’s mid-range players and value to help build a CORE CASH lineup.
Please note: There is a bunch of injury news, which should break before tip. The LAL and NO plus the MIL and MIN have no lines. I will update this article as it breaks and updates.
- Chris Paul (HOU)
No Harden tonight is a strong possibility, so the offense should fall into Paul’s lap against the fast-paced Warriors. Paul’s usage rate is over 29%, and he owns the team high in FPPM of 1.64 without Harden. Keep an eye on the Harden status.
- Trae Young (ATL)
Young’s rookie season has started to hit full cylinders. (If you haven’t seen how he did Bruce Brown dirty last night, GOOGLE it.) Young’s FanDuel price has gone up $1k over the last month. Four of his last five games, he’s hit CASH value of 5x. Tonight against the Suns, Young has a great matchup that should see him top 40 fantasy points once again.
- Tyler Johnson (PHO)
Most of the season, Johnson was a GPP option, but now, he’s in the PG1 role in Pho. Last game against Cleveland, in the starting lineup, Johnson topped 30 fantasy points and cleared 7.5x. Tonight, he’s in an even better matchup for PGs, a 233-point total and expecting to play 30 min plus. 5x floor is VERY reachable.
- Mike Conley (MEM)
Those who love pace and Vegas totals will overlook Conley tonight. In GPPs, the matchup does seem limited; but in CASH, his floor is safe. Cleveland is allowing the 2nd most fantasy points to PGs this season. Conley is a CORE cash tonight.
- Devin Booker (PHO)
Just like Johnson, Booker has an awesome matchup tonight. On the season, Atlanta is allowing the most points to shooting guards. Booker will continue to handle the ball, which should help with his peripherals. In this same matchup on February 2nd, he scored 55 fantasy points, hitting 6x at his price point. For CASH, the floor is safe for 5X.
- Bogdan Bogdanovic (SAC)
I am favoring Bogdanovic on FanDuel due to price. OKC has the 2nd highest pace on the slate, and Sacramento is 3rd. There’s going to be plenty of points to go around. Add in OKC being bottom 5 in points allowed to SGs, he is in play, especially in the game stack.
- Kent Bazemore (ATL)
The saying is to “Baze less, not More” but with prices not increasing after last night, Kent looks like a CASH lock against the Suns. Bazemore was relegated to the bench early season, but with Lin gone and a few injuries, he played 34 minutes last night against the Pistons. Less than $4800 on both sites, allows salary relief.
- Paul George (OKC)
Just like RWB, it’s a B2B from a double OT game. The matchup is amazing against the Kings, who rank bottom 3 against SFs this season. Don’t think you can fade.
- Kelly Oubre Jr. (PHO)
Oh look, another Sun. The PHO-ATL matchups are turning into a game stack. Oubre drew the start last game and didn’t let his owners down, dropping 43 fantasy points. Since Feb 1st, he’s scored more than 30 fantasy points in all but one game. Yes, Atlanta is allowing the most points to SFs this season. With his price still at a great value point, his floor is great tonight.
- Tyreke Evans (IND)
I am going based off matchup for CASH and salary. On FD, his $3800 price tag won’t kill you with the player drop. Washington is one of the worst on the slate against SFs. He’s not the most trustworthy, but he comes with low risk if you are looking for a punt. He did score 36 fantasy points against a “better” Wizards team in December.
- Domantas Sabonis (IND)
Sabonis already has a great matchup against the Wizards but will have a Huge Bump if Turner sits again tonight. Washington is dreadful against opposing frontcourts. They rank 2nd worst in points allowed to PFs and 3rd worst on the slate in points allowed to Center over the last two weeks.
- Ivan Rabb (MEM)
On FanDuel, Rabb is still $3800. Which means even on this huge slate, he’s going to be a CORE play for me tonight. JJJ is expected to be out or limited the next few games, and Rabb has proven that if he gets the minutes, he’s a DFS stud. In each game, he played more than 25 minutes, which he should tonight, and hit well over 5x with ease.
- Cody Zeller (BKN)
Zeller has been over 27 fantasy points each game since his return from injury. The matchup is one most DFSers will look for first, BIGs v. Nets. Brooklyn is 3rd worst in points in the paint allowed in the NBA this season, allowing over 52 per game.
- Joakim Noah (MEM)
Coming off the bench last night, Noah was a monster, hitting nearly 12x and over 47 fantasy points. Tonight, with JJJ on the shelf, I don’t expect the same output, but his price is there for those who need to save to add in studs.
- Kyle O’Quinn (IND)
