What’s up, Elite Mafia!
Today, the sites offer both a single-game slate for Rays/A’s, and a two-game slate that includes tomorrow afternoon’s Cards/Braves action.
Well, let’s get at it!
Tampa Bay Rays @ Oakland Athletics
Oakland – 130 | Implied Run Total: TB 3.6 runs | OAK 4 runs
St. Louis Cardinals @ Atlanta Braves
Atlanta – 130 | Implied Run Total: STL 4 runs | ATL 4.6 runs
DFS MLB POSTSEASON PITCHERS
Charlie Morton (TB)
Morton has quietly put together a great season at the ripe age of 35. He had a 16-6 record and 240 Ks across 194 innings. The matchup tonight against the A’s is one that I think he can dominate. He only allowed one run in the two matchups against them this season. Morton has the highest strikeout rate on the slate and with his upside, I am full go on Morton.
Dallas Keuchel (ATL)
From going unsigned through the All-Star break to starting Game 1, what a world. Keuchel has not looked great recently. St. Louis had a .178 ISO against LHP with a 22% K. The price is depressed on Keuchel to $6,400 and I’d expect the ownership to be noticeable.

Looking at the winning lineups from last night, the homers were all in the top GPP winners. The option to use pitchers on DK opens plenty of ideas. Last night, the winner of the big GPP had Max, Strasburg and Hader. Mike Fiers is an option has he is expected to be first in line for long relief, similar to Strasburg last night if Manaea gets in trouble.
