Get off the beaten path with RadThad. He’ll help you construct low-owned, high-upside NBA DFS lineups with the potential to fly up the GPP leaderboards on DraftKings and FanDuel!!
What’s up my peeps? Just when I thought this week’s NBA DFS slate selection couldn’t get any worse, today’s crap-fest comes along. Each site has numerous mini slates, none of which have the same number of games or include the same matchups, for that matter. It’s a total mess.
If you’re looking for an opportunity to boost your bankroll, today probably isn’t that day. Given the situation, I hope today’s article helps you in some way, shape or form. Hang in there, folks. There will be much better days ahead.

– If you’re taking the “studs and scrubs” approach Bradley Beal, Pascal Siakam, Andre Drummond and Kawhi Leonard have the highest ceilings on the slate (in that order).
– If you’re looking to construct a low owned lineup, here are a few recommendations that will buck the current roster construction trends for this slate:
-On Fanduel’s main slate, I’m getting a core of Fred VanVleet (TOR), Lou Williams (LAC), Evan Fournier (ORL) and Chris Boucher (TOR). On DraftKings, VanVleet, Pascal Siakam (TOR), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (OKC) and Mohamed Bamba (ORL) will be popular core plays.
-Spend up at center. Value plays will be popular choices at the center position today. Don’t be afraid to spend up on guys like Andre Drummond (DET) or Rudy Gobert (UTA). Each will be low owned and has 50 fantasy point upside.
-Spend up at shooting guard. The same strategy I mentioned center extends to the shooting guard position. Bradley Beal (WAS) and Donovan Mitchell (UTA) won’t make it into your cash game lineups, however, their high ceilings could easily put you in the running to take down a GPP.
-Roster both Paul George (LAC) and Pascal Siakam (TOR) on Fanduel. Most DFS’ers will likely choose one of these two studs tonight. That makes pairing them in tournaments and excellent strategy. It’s a shallow position so feel free to lock in their “fantasy goodness” and plug in value elsewhere.
-Don’t forget about Brandon Ingram (NO) on DraftKings. I seem to have Jrue Holiday (NO) in a number of lineups, but I can’t seem to find Ingram anywhere. He just put up 45.0 DraftKings points against Oklahoma City in his last game and should easily replicate that outing. I’ll gladly take that type of baseline performance from a low owned player with upside.
