Welcome to the NFL DFS DST Coach, where we identify the best defenses for our DraftKings and FanDuel lineups!
What’s up y’all? It’s Week 15 of this year’s NFL regular season. If you’re new to daily fantasy, you’ll soon realize defensive production is hard to predict on a week-to-week basis. Your best option is to come up with a process you follow week in and week out. In the long run, you’ll come out on top. Let’s take a look at the team defenses that make this week’s “wish list.” Here’s a list of the “boxes” you’re looking to “check off”:
Los Angeles Rams -17.5
Worst Offense Ranking
based on sacks allowed
32. Philadelphia Eagles – 40
31. Cincinnati Bengals – 36
30. Washington Football Team – 35
29. Seattle Seahawks – 33
28. Dallas Cowboys – 31
Opponent Implied Total less than 20
New England – 20
Washington – 19.5
Jacksonville – 17.5
New York Jets – 13.5
BEST NFL DFS DEFENSES
Los Angeles Rams (FD $5,000, DK $4,500) Defenses against the Jets
The Jets have the lowest expected total of just 13.5. The Rams D/ST has a great chance to be the highest owned on DK and faces the team that has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing defenses. Chalk City with the amount of value this slate is spitting out.
Baltimore Ravens (FD $4,800, DK $3,800)
The Ravens return home to a nice, chilly 40-degree weather environment against a Florida team, if that’s your thing. Add in they face Gardner Minshew in his first game back. In just seven games, Minshew threw five interceptions with three lost fumbles.
Tennessee Titans (FD $3,900, DK $3,400)
The Titans could have a chance to face Chase Daniel and a Lions team that is limping into the offseason. Detroit does have the ability to score points, but the turnovers and sacks are where this Titans defense should benefit with a backup starting at QB. Prefer them on FanDuel
Seattle Seahawks (FD $4,500, DK $3,100)
I liked the Seahawks last week against the Jets, and they had their best fantasy scoring game all year. Let’s go back to the well with a Washington Football Team starting Dwayne Haskins and Peyton Barber due to Alex Smith and Antonio Gibson being on the shelf.
