Welcome to the NFL DFS DST Coach, where we identify the best defenses for our DraftKings and FanDuel lineups!
What’s up y’all? It’s Week 12 of this year’s NFL regular season. If you’re new to daily fantasy, you’ll soon realize defensive production is hard to predict on a week-to-week basis. Your best option is to come up with a process you follow week in and week out. In the long run, you’ll come out on top. Let’s take a look at the team defenses that make this week’s “wish list.” Here’s a list of the “boxes” you’re looking to “check off”:
Los Angeles Rams -6.5
Buffalo Bills -4.5
Minnesota Vikings -3.5
Indianapolis Colts -3

BEST NFL DFS DEFENSES
Miami Dolphins (FD $5,000, DK $4,200)
The Dolphins are right back on this list based on matchup. The Jets have the lowest implied total and have allowed 27 sacks this season. Miami had three sacks and a shutout in the first meeting. With value opening up, even at that price, you can fit them in comfortably.
New York Giants (FD $4,300, DK $3,200)
This defense will probably be the highest owned on the slate and for good reason. With no Joe Burrow, the Bengals are looking to unknown Brandon Allen. Allen played in the offense with the Rams, but with the offensive line allowing the second-most sacks, Allen could be in for a long day.
New Orleans Saints (FD $4,800, DK $3,800)
Suddenly, the Saints defense has been a force with three consecutive games of over 14 DK points. They have held their last three opponents to a combined 25 points plus 7 INTs, 2 FR and 13 sacks! Denver ranks at the bottom of total offense still and has the second-lowest implied total on the slate.
Los Angeles Rams (FD $4,500, DK $3,700)
The Rams defense has a great chance to come away with plenty of sacks and turnovers. The Niners have allowed 25 sacks on the season, and Nick Mullens has been passing out turnovers like Grandmas’ pumpkin pie slices. He has 10 turnovers in six starts.
