Top GPP plays for tonight’s 4-game slate!
Steph Curry ($9200 DK, $9800 FD) – There’s not a whole lot of options for spending up today and Steph gets a solid matchup here against Kemba Walker and the Hornets. The Hornets have struggled to defend the three-point line all year long which is of course Steph’s bread and butter.
De’Aaron Fox ($8200 DK, $9100 FD) – Fox has been rolling lately with big games the past two on the road against the Pelicans and Rockets, and now he gets a decent matchup against Bryn Forbes and the Spurs. The Kings have been willing to play Fox big minutes lately as he’s seen 37 the past two, which is what we like to see when spending this much for a player, and as long as he plays well tonight, he should see big run again.
Others (Value) – Bryn Forbes
Tyler Dorsey ($4500 DK, $4500 FD) – Mike Conley has already been ruled out, which means it’s Tyler Dorsey time. He’s just too cheap for the minutes and role he takes on when he’s the starting point guard and we’ve seen him put up some huge games this when Conley sits. The Grizz are projected to score about four points above their season average, so this is a good game spot as well.
Delon Wright ($5500 DK, $6000 FD) – Again, Conley is out (and Avery Bradley), which opens the door for the firm of Dorsey and Wright to do damage. The Grizzlies sent down Jevon Carter to the G-League and now are very thin in the backcourt. Like Dorsey, the minutes and opportunity should be there, and Wright is priced at a point where he’s got plenty of upside.
Others: Lou Williams, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Dwyane Bacon
Jabari Parker ($6100 DK, $6400 FD) – With Trevor Ariza out and Jeff Green hardly playing anymore, the door is open for Parker to see 30+ minutes a night. Parker is a guy who can really fill it up, and when he gets hot, he can go off, which is what we like for GPPs.
Nemanja Bjelica ($5000 DK, $5000 FD) – Harry Giles is out for the Kings and Marvin Bagley is questionable with an illness. Bjelica is a highly productive player (a FPPM) with plenty of upside whose minutes tend to be all over the place. But this shapes up to be a pretty good spot for him to pick up extra run
Others (Value): Troy Brown, Wilson Chandler (if Gallo is out)
LaMarcus Aldridge ($8100 DK, $9200 FD) – We’ve seen some big games out of LMA lately, including a monster 48-point, 13-rebound smash against the Celtics. There’s nothing about this matchup that scares us and without many good PF options tonight, LMA tops the list.
JaMychal Green ($4200 DK, $4000 FD) – Green has seen an uptick in minutes the last two and has responded with 30+ fantasy points in each. Tonight he gets a little revenge action against his former team, and given how well he’s played the last two, he’s likely earned himself 20+ minutes again tonight.
Others: Paul Millsap, Frank Kaminsky
Jonas Valanciunas ($7900 DK, $8500 FD) – What a beast! Fresh off a 43 point, 20 rebound effort against the Suns, Jo-Val gets another outstanding matchup against the Clippers and young center Ivica Zubac.
Nik Jokic ($9800 DK, $10400 FD) – Jokic is an absolute load who should be able to bully the skinny Thomas Bryant on the block and on the boards. There’s always some concern about the minutes with the Nuggets at home and as big favorites, but Jokic is a guy who has shown tremendous upside even when he sees fewer than 30 minutes.
