Eric Bledsoe – Giannis will sit out another game tonight leading into the All Star Game after the birth of his son on Monday, meaning, as always, the rest of the Bucks get a massive bump. Bledsoe and Middleton both went off on Monday, and there is not really any reason to expect a different outcome tonight against Pacers. The matchup isn’t ideal, but the extra minutes and usage more than make up for it. DraftKings did do a good job at pricing up the Bucks, but I’m still absolutely willing to pay the $7700 price tag on DraftKings, and he’s even cheap on FanDuel. Bledsoe is also a 1.55x player on SuperDraft, who have a huge tournament tonight, and I’ll be using him there as well.
Trae Young – An ideal matchup awaits Trae Young tonight against a Cavaliers team with two of the worst defensive guards in basketball. Specifically, they’re bad at defending the pick and roll, and no player in the NBA uses more possessions than Trae in the pick and roll action. The addition of Andre Drummond won’t help the Cavaliers improve here much, in my opinion, and it’s no coincidence Trae had a monster performance against the Cavaliers last time out.
Cheick Diallo – The Suns were already extremely thin in the front court recently with Kaminsky, Saric, and Baynes all out in recent weeks. Now they’ve been joined on the bench bay DeAndre Ayton, who is doubtful to play tonight. Ayton missed the game on Monday as well, and while Diallo didn’t play particularly well, he’s typically a productive player on a per minute basis and played a whopping 39 minutes in the Suns loss to the Lakers. I’m not sure if he’ll see quite that many minutes, but regardless he’s a great bargain at $5000 on DK.
Larry Nance – With Kevin Love out tonight, Larry Nance will likely draw the start at power forward and play 30+ minutes in a matchup against the Hawks that perfectly fits his up and down style of play. Nance is capable of contributing statistics across the board and I love players like him against the Hawks who concede large amount of fantasy statistics in all facets. $5100 on DK is a bargain on DK and he’s got the upside to
Brook Lopez – The Bucks are likely going to need big minutes from Lopez tonight with no Giannis and with the Pacers playing a lot of big lineups with Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis. The matchup isn’t great on paper, but Lopez has played well against the Pacers so far this year and gets a bump in almost every statistical category with Giannis off the court. $5800 is a high price tag for Lopez but he’s got a good chance to exceed value tonight.
