- Jake Odorizzi – Theres nothing not to like about Odorizzi here other then his price. He’s been one of the most consistent pitchers in the league this year so rightfully so. Now he’s up against a Royals team that I love to target. I think Odorizzi is the top pitcher on the slate but he doesn’t come cheap.
- Walker Buehler – Buehler doesn’t get as sexy of a matchup as Odorizzi but I do think Buehler is the better pitcher. He’s an absolute stud and you do get a slight discount. If choosing between the two, I would probably spend a little more and roll with Odorizzi but both make for fine plays.
- German Marquez – I’m excited about using Marquez tonight vs a strikeout happy Padres team. At $8,100, it almost seems like a steal, people will be scared off of him after last night which only makes me want him more. He’s a legit good pitcher and you couldn’t ask for a better matchup. Marquez will be a staple in my lineups tonight and should be fairly low owned.
- Reynaldo Lopez – Lopez is true door #3 if I’ve ever seen one. He has great upside but if he’s missing it usually results in the ball landing over the fence. My favorite strategy tonight will be going Lopez as a cheap SP2 so I can load up on the bats but also having a Yankees hedge in case he’s missing his spots. Its really a win win situation here.
