Bullpen (Phil Backert)
Phil Backert: It’s extremely disappointing as the Orioles do not have a game on Thursday. If they aren’t fighting each other in the dugout, they are allowing home runs at a historic pace. Over the last seven days, 18 balls have left the yard. The Astros come to Baltimore over the weekend.
Phil Backert: The Rockies bullpen struggled again. Since July, righties are slugging .541.
Phil Backert: The Tigers are allowing an opponents batting average of .330 over the last seven days and they have a low swinging strike percentage of 9.1 percent during this span.
im just reading Teds cash article, putting some LU structures together. so you would attack Rockies Bullpen with RHH Padres?
Phil Backert: i would
Phil Backert: Phillies struggling too..The Phillies is another unit we have targeted and they struggled again on Wednesday night as they allowed six more base runners in only three innings of work. Lefties are slugging .551 since July.
ok. and no O’s today. other good targets? so cheap SF LHH? but if Nola pitching, taking a flyer on a LHH getting to BP and then hoping a solo shot i guess
Phil Backert: yea i mean when the SP doesn’t exactly line up, its prob better for GPPs. Braves and Marlins struggling too. Twins as well
Phil Backert: lefties slugging .525 against the Marlins since July, I kind of like the Braves for hitters, Marlins have allowed 8 HRs last seven days
alot of HR potential, but they at Miami, hard park for HR
Phil Backert: good point
