Bullpen (Phil Backert)
Phil Backert: We highlighted the Rockies pitching at home leading to struggles and that continued on Monday. They have now allowed six home runs in the second half. It should be noted that they did pitch better in the second game of the double header.
Phil Backert: Not surprising, but the Orioles have picked up where they left off in the first half and that is struggling. The unit has allowed five home runs in the second half and a fly ball percentage of 44.9 percent. They have a low swinging strike percentage of 7.8 percent.
Phil Backert: The Phillies bullpen continues to be a disaster as they allowed nine earned runs on Monday night. In the month of July, the unit has allowed nine home runs and a hard hit percentage of 44.6 percent.
