Slate Notes:
- Top Game Stack:
- Portland @ Rockets: This is a fairly obvious one given it’s the highest total on the slate by over 10 pts. While a majority of my interest lies on the Blazer side, utilizing 1-2 rockets (Wood, Dipo, Tate) is certainly a strong foundation for your game stacks.
- Key News to watch for:
- Anthony Davis – Just ruled out as I finished this. Kuzma and Morris are primary beneficiaries while Harrell also benefits.
- Tyler Herro and Goran Dragic: If one is ruled out the other is in play along with Kendrick Nunn. If both sit, Nunn is once again a core play.
- Potential Slate Edge:
- Deandre Ayton: After failing last night look for a massive bounce back!
General Thoughts/Strategy:
- Chalk: Unlike other sports, chalk in NBA is not always a bad thing, even in GPP’s. I’m much more willing to play a 40% owned James Harden than I am any baseball player at that ownership. NBA is far more predictable, especially those with established roles as we progress through the season.
