Welcome to “Healy’s Hints,” where Brian tells us his favorite NFL DFS plays for your lineups on SuperDraft, FanDuel and DraftKings.
Hey, guys! I’m excited to bring my NFL DFS content back to the team at Elite Fantasy, where we will look to build upon all of our 2019 success. If you’re not familiar with how I break down my articles, here’s a crash course. This piece will be broken down into three sections:
1. A cheat sheet, broken down by position and salary (using FD positions & prices).
2. My favorite stack(s) to target, and which players I prefer in those stacks.
3. My “Today’s Edge” section, which covers my top TD picks, the players I will have the most exposure to across all of my lineups, and my “Edge” play, which is my favorite play (or fade!) on the slate.
Note: My top-owned plays and “The Edge” play will be updated no later than 1hr prior to lock!
This article will cover the Week 4 NFL Main Slate, which begins Sunday at 1:00pm.
NFL DFS Cheat Sheet
Players to consider for your Week 4 NFL GPPs. This isn’t a list of every player I will have, but rather the top guys I’m including in my stacks/core. Players may be here because of their matchups, their ownership, or even because they’re a good leverage play off the chalk. They will all be included in this core list.
- Sunday Updates:
- Matt Stafford added to QB Pool with KC/NE postponed.
- Alvin Kamara added to RB pool with Michael Thomas being ruled out.
- Kenny Golladay and Amari Cooper added as top tier WR’s.
- TJ Hockenson added to TE to replace Kelce.
NFL DFS Stacks
A common roster construction I like to use in large-field tournaments is stacking a quarterback with one or two of his skill players (RB, WR, TE) and playing one or two guys from the opposition. I plan to attack this week no differently.
My top overall stack is the Bills @ Raiders. Josh Allen is DFS gold. His ability to put up massive fantasy numbers each week makes him a recurring top option. This week, the Bills face-off with the Raiders, who have allowed the eighth-most points to begin the season. So, I’m expecting another high scoring affair. With John Brown likely sidelined, the target tree narrows, which leads us to Stef Diggs being the preferred pairing partner with Allen. It will also lead to additional snaps for Gabriel Davis, who will be a pairing option in large-field GPP and MME builds. On full PPR sites, Cole Beasley remains a viable option in a game I’m expecting the Bills to score over 30 points. If you want to run it back with a Raiders player, I’d recommend Hunter Renfrow, Darren Waller or Josh Jacobs (in that order).

Other Stacks to Consider
(Watson / Cooks / Fuller / Akins)
(Burrow / Higgins / Boyd / Sample)
Low Owned Stack
(Mayfield / OBJ / Hooper / Hunt / Landry)

My Top-Owned Plays (based on exposure across all my lineups)
