Welcome to “Healy’s Hints”, where Brian tells us his favorite NFL DFS plays for your lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Hey, guys! I’m excited to bring my NFL GPP content over to Elite Fantasy, where I’m hoping we’ll be able to build upon all of our 2018 success. If you’re not familiar with how I break down my articles, here’s a crash course. This piece will be broken down into three sections:
1. A cheat sheet, broken down by position and salary (using FD positions & prices).
2. My favorite stack(s) to target, and which players I prefer in those stacks.
3. My “Today’s Edge” section, which covers my top TD picks, the players I will have the most exposure to across all of my lineups, and my “Edge” play, which is my favorite play (or fade!) on the slate.
Note: My top-owned plays and “The Edge” play will be updated no later than 1hr prior to lock!
This article will cover the Week 16 Main Slate, which begins Sunday at 1:00pm EST.
Sunday Mid Morning Updates:
Leonard Fournette replacing Joe Mixon based on illness.
Dion Lewis replaced Boston Scott at value RB.
Jonnu Smith replaces Jesse James for value TE: Henry out speeds game up.
Players to consider for your Week 1 NFL GPPs. This isn’t a list of every player I will have, but rather the top guys I’m including in my stacks/core. Players may be here because of their matchups, their ownership, or even because they’re a good leverage play off the chalk.
|Top Tier||Russell Wilson||Christian McCaffrey||Julio Jones||Zach Ertz||Steelers|

A common roster construction I like to use in tournaments is stacking a quarterback with one or two of his skill players (RB, WR, TE), and playing one or two guys from the opposition. I plan to attack this week no differently.
My top overall stack is the Giants @ Redskins. The Giants recently cut their ‘top’ corner and have failed to generate a pass rush all year. Coming off the best game of his career, Dwayne Haskins is primed for a big day. Primary pairing is clearly rookie standout Terry McLaurin: We were on him last week and he came through in a big way. Secondary pairing options are Steven Sims, and then Kelvin Harmon. If you’re looking to run it back, the Giants offer several viable options: Golden Tate, Darius Slayton, Saquon Barkley, and Sterling Shepard is the order I would prioritize them.
