Welcome to “Healy’s Hints,” where Brian lets us in on his favorite NFL DFS plays for your lineups on FanDuel, DraftKings and SuperDraft.
Hey, guys! I’m excited to bring my NFL DFS content back to the team at Elite Fantasy, where we will look to build upon all of our 2019 success. If you’re not familiar with how I break down my articles, here’s a crash course. This piece will be broken down into three sections:
1. A cheat sheet, broken down by position and salary (each pricing tier based on FD positions & pricing).
2. My favorite stack(s) to target, and which players I prefer in those stacks.
3. My “Today’s Edge” section, which covers my top TD picks, the players I will have the most exposure to across all of my lineups, and my “Edge” play, which is my favorite play (or fade!) on the slate.
Note: My top-owned plays and “The Edge” play will be updated no later than 1hr prior to lock!
This article will cover the Week 15 NFL Main Slate, which begins Sunday at 1:00pm.
NFL DFS Cheat Sheet
Players to consider for your Week 15 NFL GPPs. This isn’t a list of every player I will have, but rather the top guys I’m including in my stacks/core. Players may be here because of their matchups, their ownership, or even because they’re a good leverage play off the chalk. They are all included in this core list.
- Sunday Updates:
- Cam Akers out of core RB’s: Replace with Sony Michel
- Michael Thomas out: replace with Terry McLaurin
- Mack Hollins out of core with Parker in: replace with Manny Sanders
NFL DFS Stacks
A common roster construction I like to use in large-field tournaments is stacking a quarterback with one or two of his skill players (RB, WR, TE) and playing one or two guys from the opposition. I plan to attack this week no differently.
My top overall stack is the Eagles @ Cardinals.
It was a pleasant surprise to see the play calling for the Birds last week. They played at the fastest pace we’ve seen from them over the past five weeks. If they can continue with a similar pace and combine the Cardinals on the other side, this could low key be a very fantasy-friendly game environment.
I’m fairly split on these QB’s and will undoubtedly have lineups with each, but given the more talented weapons and some key defensive injuries, I’m siding with Kyler as my QB1. He got back to his running ways last week, given his 13 attempts. With the Birds losing Rodney McLeod, Darius Slay and Avonte Maddox, they will be very thin and a secondary the likes of DeAndre Hopkins and Christian Kirk should have a field day with come Sunday. They are my top two pairings with Murray, while Fitzgerald and Arnold are secondary and, in my opinion, thin plays. In terms of Eagles run backs, I’m leaning on Goedert, Sanders and Reagor.
Eagles @ Cardinals
(Kyler / Nuk / Kirk / Goedert)
Other Stacks to Consider
(Wilson / Metcalf / Lockett / Moore)
(Brees / Thomas / Kamara / Sanders)
Low Owned Stack
(Tannehill / Brown / Davis / Jonnu)
- Christian Kirk (40+ yd bomb)
- JK Dobbins
My Top-Owned Plays (based on exposure across all my lineups)
QB – Kyler Murray
Skill Player – Alvin Kamara
