Your boy Duke has your back for both Friday’s showdown slate and Saturday’s classic four-match slate in Bundesliga DFS!!
The Prem is nearly back! It’s been confirmed to re-start on June 17th. There will be 92 games in a space of about 30-40 days. It’s going to be madness and I cannot wait. SO, here is the reality: I’m going to cover everything. My goal is to cover every slate either through an article AND/OR chat room session. I’ll have cheatsheets where I can, but I’ll be trimming the fat where I can to make sure you are getting as much content as possible.
With that, let’s head to the desert…..

BUNDESLIGA DFS GAME THOUGHTS
I love Leverkusen here. The market has overreacted to their loss to Wolfy and made Bayer a favorite, but one that should be around -190 to the -200 range. With a total of 3 and the implied goal total for Leverkusen, you can guess where my ownership will trend.
Leon Bailey is likely to get the start and is the most expensive player on the slate, but I’ll have my shares.
WOOF! This game is all kinds of gross. Schalke blew another good 60 minutes of action by conceding 2 late. Mentally you have to wonder how the team is handling the grind of the Bundesliga post Covid-19.
Werder Bremen have looked decent recently. Who is going to score? I love seeing American Josh Sargent get minutes, but my guy hasn’t sniffed a goal.
I love how Mainz play. I hate how they finish. They can be guilty of overplaying at times and just speaking generally, aren’t good enough to play this style of football effectively. Hoffenheim aren’t exactly a wagon, but they have enough talent to beat Mainz. This will be a close, likely low scoring game.
Hertha has made us some money, and I’m ready to stay on the train for another week. -110 home favorites with a decent total is a game we can grab shares without a massive favorite on the slate.
Augsburg, I’ve been less impressed with, but they are a decent side. Not scoring on Paderborn is concerning and again, we’ll have to see how much rotation takes place in all of these sides at the weekend.
Wolfsburg looks great. Super solid defensively and showing some promise going forward. This has to be 3 points for them.
Frankfurt could have and should have won against Freiburg but conceded 3 goals in the game. Kostic is a monster, and Silva is in good form, but can they keep Wolfsburg off the score sheet? I’d be surprised if they did, but that is their route to points.
Bayern by a million. Thankfully, it’s off the main slate because we obviously wouldn’t have team news. We’ll be grabbing as many Bayern pieces as we can, but breaking this down knowing there will be side rotation for both teams will be a waste of your time. Build with Bayern.
BUNDESLIGA DFS PICKS
Ibisevic – BSC – $5.8k
This price makes him very playable. Still getting his 75-80 minutes per game. This might go down to 60-65, but as of now, he looks good. Still got his 2 shots off last game, 1 of which was a bad miss. He won’t make that mistake again.
Silva – SGE – $7k
I will have a Frankfurt stack, and Silva will be in that stack. I love hot forwards and he’s bagged 2 in 3 but his movement has been great as well.
Steffen – WOB – $7.7k
I’m not excited about playing Steffen, but maybe I should be. 3, 2 and 3 shots in his last games back with 2 goals. He’s strictly a goal dependent GPP play. Not enough floor for cash.
Victor – WOB – $5.6k
Weghorst has burned me one too many times, and Victor looked good against Leverkusen. I’d expect him to start again and get 70 minutes+. He doesn’t wow you with production but his price is reasonable for a Wolfsburg stack.
Vargas – FCA – $5.2k
Not loving a ton of Augsburg, but he’d be my piece I’d take naked.
Cunha – BSC – $8.2k
I’m worried about the number of minutes that are on his legs. He looked leggy last game and played the full 90. He also only had 8 accurate passes but he’s still the most likely to score.
Dabbur – TSG – $6.6k
Had an assist called back and just missed a header in the 6 thanks to a great GK save. He was close to going off, but instead of a goal, he picked up a yellow card for a 13 pt swing in output. That’s a good thing for us. All or nothing, but I like HOFF to score in this game.
Rashica – SVW – $8.4k
Paid off last match and this is a much easier match for him but the price is a bit much compared to other options. Schalke concede goals so he’s part of a stack for sure.
Arnold – WOB – $9.1k
Part of why we loved him against Leverkusen was his price at $6.8k. We don’t get that here, but we still have the set piece equity, which contributed a large portion of his 34 points from last game. Fire away.
Kamada – SGE – $6.5k
I personally did not have enough Kamada last slate, which likely means you guys didn’t either. That’s my bad. The goal certainly helps his log, but how about 5 shots with 5 on target. Tougher opponent here, but the price is right.
Rode – SGE – $5k
Too cheap for his production regardless of matchup.
Martin – M05 – $6.8k
Didn’t play the last game, and that’s either really concerning or really good. If he starts, that’s really good, as he’ll be fresh. Set piece monopoly when he does play. If he doesn’t start, Kunde is in play again at $4.9k.
Baumgartner – TSG – $8.8k
Perhaps a week too late here, but Mainz concede a ton of goals and Baum has 10 shots in his last 3 games. The Hoffenheim attack looks potent on the break.
Bittencourt – SVW – $7.8k
There are so many good options on this slate that he might go overlooked in a plus matchup on relatively fresh legs. 1 shot, 2 shots assisted and 3 crosses in just 28 minutes shows the impact he has in this attack.
Lukebakio – BSC – $6.3k
I’ll go back to the well here. He didn’t quite work out last game, but Hertha still found 2 goals. We need pieces of this attack, and his minor role in set pieces is an added bonus.
Klaassen – SVW – $5.5k
The dude just hits value. Fired a shot just off target or we would have seen the elusive ceiling game from Davy.
Kostic – SGE – $10.6k
Love playing him as a favorite. Not so much as a dog. I do think this can be an open game so he’s in play, but I’ll likely have less than the field in GPP. Still, an option for cash if we can find value to offset his price.
Obligatory Sahin mention…probably won’t play, but he’s too cheap if he does.
Oczipka – S04 -$6.2k
Expensive but worth the price. Winnable game for Schalke.
Mittelstadt – BSC – $6.7k
Price prohibitive but he should see the full 90 and have a set piece majority on a favorite.
Traore – SGE – $5.4k
The dude just gets his points. Last game, it was 6 crosses and 3 shots assisted with 3 tackles. Cash worthy. Fine for GPP.
Mbabu – WOB – $5.5k
Decent floor but this price…damn. I’ll have less than I wanted before pricing was released.
Sleassie – SVW – $4.1k
Not going to kill you. Probably won’t win you a GPP. Cash only for value, but we are hoping for cheaper or pay up.
- Luthe – FCA – $3.9k
- Jarstein – BSC – $5.3k
- Pavlenka – SVW – $4.3k
