Wild Saturday slate that brought mixed results. The chat room was a hotbed for speculation and lineup changes pre-lock, and wouldn’t you know it, JRod picks up a goal and assist at $3.6k as soon as I pivot off that punk. I still got home in a few places but overall lost money on Saturday. I don’t like having those days too often, so let’s turn this ship around.

EPL DFS GAME THOUGHTS
WBA/MU
If this match were at Old Trafford, I’d say this would be a boat race. It’s at the Hawthorns and guess what…it should still be a boat race. City at home against the last three teams with a pulse:
Leeds 5 – West Brom 0
Arsenal 4 – West Brom 0
Man City 5 – West Brom 0
Big Sam is good for a lot of things. Beating the big boys at home is not one of them. The 1-1 draws against Man City and Liverpool away are looking flukier by the minute.
Man United should put out a first 11. I would hope and expect them to use 2 attacking midfielders with 1 CDM to protect the back 2 with Wan-Bissaka and Shaw pushing forward from the fullback positions.
This will be one-way traffic. It’s not a matter of if United score; it’s how many.
ARS/LEE
Mikel Arteta does this tactical thing away from home where his penis goes inside his body and doesn’t even look for sunlight until late in the second half if the game is still close. Against Leeds, he didn’t even try to win the game. Leeds had 66% possession. They outshot Arsenal 25 to 9. Sure, they walked away with a point and a 0-0 draw, but is that what Arsenal has become? Playing a newly promoted side and you concede possession to sure up things defensively?
No, and oddly enough, the numbers at home aren’t that much better. They are scoring just 1.09 goals per game in home matches. They are conceding just 1 goal, so they are picking up slightly more pts/game than the league average at 1.36 per. The results are not pretty – home losses to Burnley, Wolves and Aston Villa. Draws against Crystal Palace and Southampton. This is a mid-table Arsenal squad, and while I would expect them to play a bit more expansive at home, would you be shocked by a Leeds win? I wouldn’t.
Leeds don’t give AF on the road. Game totals of 8, 4, 7, 4, 1, 3, 3, 5, 3, 5 and 1. They’ve gone over 2.5 goals in 82% of games. They are picking up 1.64 points/game away. Something has to give here. Their results are mixed, but you are basically guaranteed action.
This one could come down to team news for Arsenal. How aggressive does Arteta want to be?
EVE/FUL
Everton had a game on Wednesday when Fulham were able to rest for the weekend. That could be the difference between a win and a draw in a game I anticipate being close. The 3 goals Everton scored against United were largely generated from United errors. Will Fulham do the same?
Of course, it’s Fulham. They are that team that’s great between the 20s but can’t punch it in the end zone and end up with a bunch of FGs. The big issue being, there are no field goals in soccer.
It’s the afternoon hammer with the lowest total. Tread lightly.
