We’re giving Moose the night off. I’ll be breaking down DraftKings League of Legends EUM – May 9 – 12:00 PM EST
My projections for tomorrow afternoon’s 2-match EUM slate are already loaded into the EliteFantasy.com LoL optimizer and lineup builder.
If you missed my last article, I went over three “rules” I’m using when building lineups on a 2-match slate, as well as tips on how to utilize the optimizer to help you to implement them.
Rule #1: Use only ADC, MID, or JNG in your CAPT spot.
Tip: In the optimizer, you can simply remove all of the TOP/SUP/TEAM captains from your player pool.
Rule #2: Have at least one 4-man stack in all of your lineups.
Tip: In the optimizer, you can set all lineups to use a 4-man stack under “Advanced Options” >> “Team Stacks” >> “Add Stack” >> “Stack Size: 4 players” & “Add all (teams)”.
Rule #3: Make sure to have two other position players stacked with your CAPT. When a CAPT has so many kills, his teammates are generally piling up the assists, or vice versa.
Tip: You can set a rule in the optimizer to set all CAPT to be stacked with at least 2 players. “Advanced Options” >> “Position Stacks” >> “Stack CAPT with at least 2 players of TOP/JNG/MID/ADC/SUP from same team”.
Some other settings I like to use when MME’ing on a 2-match slate:
- 2-3 unique players per lineup
- Minimum salary of $46,000-47,000
- Offensive players vs. TEAM pos – 1 player (only on 2-game slates)
- Randomness around 10-15%
- Players from Game MAX – 5
- Limit Opposing Players – 1
Teams to Target
When playing a DraftKings League of Legends tournament, it is important to team stack and focus on narrowing down the teams that will provide the best chance of winning. Total score is determined by kills, assists and overall player performance in each LoL game that happens on the rift, but the goal is always to aim and stack winning teams for the easiest chance at taking down cash games and GPP tournaments. We take a closer look at what teams might be able to provide us an edge.
For the remainder of these articles on Elite, please PM me if you have any questions. The list below will feature teams and plays I like for tonight’s slate!
Movistar Riders $5,000 TEAM
I am all-in on AGO Rogue tonight, so my TEAM slot will be used for part of a Movistar or K1CK stack. It’s close, but I prefer Movistar slightly.
AGO Rogue $5,200 TEAM
The most expensive team on the slate. I think I’d rather pay up for some of their position players. As I said, though, I am all-in on AGO today.
Players to Target
Player knowledge is just as important as team knowledge. Knowing where a player can shine in a line is what separates the people who cash GPPs regularly and those who fall off.
Note: I have three players per position listed. My top player at each position is listed first.
TOP: Szygenda (AGO) $6,600, Bio (K1CK) $6,000, Beansu (MS) $6,200
JNG: Shlatan (K1CK) $6,400, TynX (LDLC) $6,200, Elyoya (MS) $7,000
MID: Czekolad (AGO) $7,600, Xico (MS) $7,400, Matislaw (K1CK) $7,200
ADC: Woolite (AGO) $7,800, JaVaaa (MS) $7,600, Puki Style (K1CK) $7,400
SUP: Mystiques (AGO) $5,600, rhuckz (MS) $5,800, Raxxo (K1CK) $5,400
Sample GPP Lineup
I have a 3 or 4 man AGO stack in 11 of 11 lineups today. All-in. Build around Szygenda, Czekolad (possible CAPT), Woolite (possible CAPT), and Mystiques.
