DOMINATE tonight’s DFS MLB Postseason slate with these pitchers and hitters!
What’s up, Elite Mafia! Today, we have a two-game slate on both sites. The Nationals are looking to close out the NLCS and punch a ticket to the WS. Houston will travel to New York for at least three games, first starting at 4:08 pm. Well, let’s get at it!
Houston Astros @ New York Yankees
Astros -164 | Implied Game Run Total: 7.6
St. Louis Cardinals @ Washington Nationals
Nationals -157 | Implied Game Run Total: 8.1
DFS MLB POSTSEASON PITCHERS
Gerrit Cole (HOU) ($11,800 FD / $10,200 DK)
- With the series tied at 1-1, Houston goes to their ace in Yankee Stadium. The temperature has dropped to 63 degrees, a great pitching environment. He has a 39.9% K and a 16.8% SwStr% rate. This postseason, he has 25 Ks and only allowed 1 ER.
Patrick Corbin (WAS) ($9,500 FD / $8,400 DK)
- Corbin takes the mound in a possible Game 4 clincher for Washington. He has pitched a 1/3 of an inning in Game 2. He did pitch Game 1 of the NLDS and only allowed 1 ER while striking out nine against LAD. The price difference between Cole and Corbin isn’t much on this small slate, but you get the big savings. I’d imagine some stacking the HOU/NYY game and running Corbin.
DraftKings Start Combos
Cole/Corbin: $3,925 left/player
Cole/Hudson: $4,275 left/player
Corbin/Hudson: $4,500 left/player
Cole/Severino: $4,113 left/player
Corbin/Severino: $4,338 left/player
Hudson/Severino $4,688 left/player
***Obviously, the cheaper pitchers will allow some higher-priced bats.***
