I am going to take the same approach to Xfinity series as I do for the big dogs. To put this into perspective for you, the Xfinity series is like the minor leagues of the Monster Energy Cup series.
Take these statements as pros or cons. Your call. The cars are similar, yet very different from the Monster Cup cars. Driver list will be different each week. They have rules that only allow the Monster Energy guys to race a certain number of Xfinity races. These guys are less experienced and typically are less consistent.
All this stuff is blah blah blah, I know. So with all that being said, the point here is to build some winning lineups……..SO LET’S FUCKING DO THIS!!!
XFINITY PROCESS
Timing is difficult here for Xfinity. They typically qualify and start the race within hours. So I am assigning a value to drivers I like. Guys who could dominate and win, solid drivers and GPP or risky plays.
You will need to check the starting lineups before making final decisions. It is marked on DK after qualifying so that shouldn’t be a problem. For example, typically you would not want to start a low end guy who is starting 4th, where it is very unlikely for him to finish top 5.
I am trying to narrow things down for you. Too much information can just be confusing. If you need more information, you can look at the projections tab.
Take a look at the scoring to better understand why I do it this way:
POINT SCORING
Drivers will accumulate points as follows:
- Place Differential = +/- 1 PTs
- Fastest Laps = +0.5 PTs
- Laps Led = +0.25 PTs
- Finishing Position Scoring (winner 46pts, 2nd 42pts, 3rd 41, 4th 40, 39,38,37 etc…)
XFINITY DRIVERS FOR THE COOK OUT 250
We are definitely going to need to see where these guys are starting before we lock them in. Also going to be looking for young guys running on top teams. RCR Racing/Joe Gibbs Racing/JR Motorsports/Chip Ganassi Racing…etc….
*Starting positions are posted on DK after qualifying

GOOD LUCK!!
