What’s Mafia welcome to the College Prep101 for CFB DFS, class is now in session. I will be your professor today for the college football DFS main slate featured on DraftKings. The lesson objectives are as following: 1) to find the chalk plays 2) find the pivots and 3) find the value options. EACH one will guide you as you build your lineup. We will look at all sets of areas for information from VEGAs, player roles, matchups and salaries that each site has provided. At the end of the lesson, the goal is to provide the best tools to stay in the green and win some cash. Now let’s open our books to play 1….

Brock Purdy (ISU) (DK $7,300): Purdy led the 17th ranked offense in 2019 in yards per play and 11th ranked in passing yards a game, (311.3) Purdy led the BIG 12 in passing with over 306 yards a game along with 27 TDs. His price is just too cheap for one of the top QBs in the nation. Last season, he scored over 20 DK points in seven games.
Sam Howell (UNC) (DK $8,900): Howell is another projected future top draft pick in an offense that will be scoring a bunch Saturday. He has two of the best WRs in the nation and coming off a 3600 passing yard season and 38 TDs, Howell looks like the real deal. The game at home has the highest point total on the slate and you will be paying for his production. I like using him with stacks with hope of a shootout as Vegas is suggesting.
- Ian Book (ND) ($8,700)
- Jarret Doege (WVU) ($8,200)
- Skylar Thompson (KSU) (DK $6,800)
- Levi Lewis (ULL) (DK $6,100)
- Chase Brice (DUKE) (DK $5,300)
Breece Hall (ISU) (DK $7,000): The SO running back is coming off an impressive season where he ran for nearly 900 yards and 10 TDs. He averaged 75 yards a game on the ground. He also played a role in the passing game with 23/252. The matchup to day should be one that ISU will be running with the lead and I like Hall as an anchor in all my builds.
Jashaun Corbin (FSU) (DK $6,800): Corbin was a transfer from Texas A&M. He is coming off a hamstrings injury from early Sept 2019. Corbin is the ideal pivot off Hall who I expect to be very popular. Corbin has great breakaway speed and Coach Norvell will want to showcase his new toy in his high powered offense.
- Josh Johnson (ULM) (DK $7,100)
- Sandon McCoy (Army) (DK $6,300)
- Javonte Williams (UNC) (DK $5,600)
- Leddie Brown (WVU) (DK $7,700)
- Michael Carter (UNC) (DK $6,500)
- Tony Mathis Jr (WVU) (DK $4,400)
- Tyrell Robinson (ARMY) (DK $3,400)
- Jaymyr Gibbs (GT) (DK $3,500)
Dazz Newsome (UNC) (DK $7,900): Pairing him with Howell in the QB/WR. Newsome had four 100 plus receiving yards with over 20DK points a game.
Tarique Milton (ISU) (DK $6,400): Another way to get your QB/WR combo. Milton is expected to take over as the top target for Purdy.
Dyami Brown (UNC) (DK $6,900): It’s possible to use both Newsome and Brown. Brown had 12 touchdowns last year and with the fast pace game, expect a ton of scoring.
Tamorrion Terry (FSU) (DK $7,800): Norvell should get a chance to test his new toys in FSU today and Terry will be top WR in the offense. Last season, Terry had 9 touchdowns and nearly 1,200 yards.
Charlie Kolar (ISU) (DK $4,500) Joshua Youngblood (KSU) (DK $3,800) Zach Dobson (WVU) (DK $3,800)
- Keyshawn Helton (FSU) (DK $4,100)
- Chase Allen (ISU) DK $3,200
