Your boy Duke has your back for the Wednesday’s DFS slate in the Bundesliga!!
3 games left. Prem just starting back up and La Liga has about 10 games left so we have plenty of soccer to get us through. It does look like DK is choosing the EPL over the Bundesliga as the contest offerings for this slate are piss poor. They have an $8, 22 max entry contest with $1k up top. Knowing that now, I’ve spent far too much time on this article. BUT — you know I love you and I’m here for you.
They’ve decided to include the 12:30pm match as well to make this a 5 gamer..
To the desert…

Frankfurt are rightfully favorites here and Silva is on fire. He scored 2 off the bench last game and should be in line for the start here.
Schalke look better but aren’t very good. They’ve held their last 3 opponents to just 1 goal but have only managed to score 2 themselves.
Is Kevin Volland just that out of shape? It makes no sense that he’s not starting these games. Kai Havertz doesn’t look like himself without more talent around him. Bailey isn’t getting it done. Diaby is hit or miss. But Leverkusen are still going to win this game.
Koln has been ass since the return. They don’t have a single result since the return that you can point to and say “well done”.
Mainz are very over their skis here. They don’t have a single point against teams in the top 6 of the table. Conversely Dormund beat Mainz 4-0 in the reverse fixture and have murdered teams down near the bottom of the table.
It’s not if they win, it’s by how many.
You guys know I hate this Augsburg team. I just never know who’s going to show up. They also haven’t played anyone of consequence since the return. They’ve taken 8 points from 6 games which is about right for them.
Hoffenheim? About the same. So who comes out on top? I’d lean Hoffenheim but I can see this ending in a draw with a lower total.
WOW. Biggest favorites on the board when Dortmund are going to smash Mainz? OK!
Interestingly this week there were reports that Werner is withdrawing from their UCL squad to focus on his new club after an anticipated move abroad. If true, you have to wonder what that does to his place in the team and how his mindset will be moving forward. I’ll say that he hasn’t looked like himself of late. He’s still damn good but doesn’t look like the player teams are drooling over.
Bless Dusseldorf’s heart. They try hard but simply don’t have the horses to compete with the big teams. They have 5-0, 4-0, 5-0, 1-0 and 3-0 losses against the top 3. Common theme, anyone? They can’t score and concede a lot. We need pieces here.
Haaland – BVB – $9.9k
The Kraken. Our hero last week and finds the scoresheet here.
Skov – TSG – $7.8k
Start your cash lineup here. Shots assisted king and has some assist/goal upside.
Silva – SGE – $7.2k
Guy has been absolutely on fire of late. 4 goals in his last 4 with only the Mainz game when he drew a blank. He’s getting the chances and putting them away. Schalke have been better defensively but Sivla still pops one.
Uth – KOE – $8.2k
Gets it done. It’s never pretty but leverkusen have conceded of late. On set piece and PK duty.
Werner – RBL – $10.4k
The reality is that Leipzig are monster favorites and likely to win this game. You can go Schick for the savings but he’s a 60-70 minute guy who’s reliant on quality service to score. Werner can get it done on his own.
Baumgartner – TSG – $5.8k
Another 3 shots last game against Leipzig. The guy just finds some space to shoot. GPP play only.
Nkunku – RBL – $9.1k
Just too expensive but I don’t mind him in cash assuming he starts. I think RBL has some internal issues that might have me wait a week to see how this plays out.
Kostic – SGE – $10.3k
Damn, they priced him appropriately. Still very viable in cash this week.
Olmo – RBL – $6.1k
Price + upside. 3, 2, 3, 2 shots in his last 4. The guy is finding the pockets.
Havertz – LEV – $8.4k
Is he healthy? If he starts we have to assume that he is healthy. Production has dropped with him moving further away from the goal. With good high priced options this will come down to team news.
Hakimi – BVB – $6.9k
I like the upside in this matchup on Wednesday. Sancho will push in and Hakimi can get around him. With Haaland back in, Hakimi’s ceiling goes up.
Rudy – TSG – $4.4k
The pricing is making this seem like a Hoffenheim stack which is not the goal. There is value in these players at these prices. Especially if no Skov in the first 11 you can go here.
Angelino – RBL – $7.1k
His position and price suck but he’s part of a RBL stack. 0 shots in his last 3 starts. Upside is a bit limited here. Cash only.
Reyna – BVB – $5.1k
Bayern have won the championship. Is it time to play a kid or 2? Give Gio the start and let him work.
Max – FCA – $8.6k
Cash consideration but likely too expensive. Should be part of any contrarian stacks using Augbsburg.
Kainz – KOE – $7.7k
What the f$*%? Uhh I guess Kainz is a D now and at this price he’s not the worst play but we’ll need value elsewhere.
Brosinski – M05 – $6.3k
ANY other matchup and I’ll pay this price. Against Dortmund? In cash consideration but worried about upside for GPP.
Miranda – S04 – $3.7k
No Caligiuri means some set piece opportunities which he’ll share with Oczipka but he does have some open play value as well. Yellows in his last 2 have hurt the game logs.
Ilsanker – SGE – $3.1k
Do you get 6 points for an assist and end up with 5.8? You Ilsanker it.
Mwene – M05 – $3.3k
We need value to match Kainz. Get in the gutter folks.
Play who fits
